In addition to Spånga Basket, 19 other teams played in Flickor 99. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Spånga Basket could be found in Group 2 together with KFUK KFUM Huddinge BBK 1, Ullvi Basket and Brahe Basket 1.

Spånga Basket made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Dolphins, which they won with 36-18. Thereby Spånga Basket won the entire Slutspel A in Flickor 99 during Eskilstuna Energi & Miljö Basketcup 2012.
